98th Gebirgsjäger Regiment - Upcoming Events in 2012

January 2012 DATE: To Be Determined - CHG Ardennes Offensive Battle, Camp Tahquitz CA. Plan on possible snow on the ground (6,500+ foot elevation) so wear gloves and long underwear.  Great site with trees, low hills, and open fields of fire.  GREAT EVENT!  This will be a Battle of the Bulge scenario!

March 16 -18, 2012  - CHG Desert Battle, Stoddard Wells, Barstow. We will represent the 756th Gebirgs Regiment of the 334th Infantry Division.  This will be a field encampment.  We want maximum effort on this one!  Every member must have as a minimum; tropical tunic w/gebirgs insignia (field gray or bottlegreen backed edelweiss - ... NO "yellow-backed" TROPICAL EDELWEISS!), tropical pants or shorts, tropical cap w/edelweiss pin, and finally if possible - a tropical belt!

April 28 - 30, 2012 - CHG Battle, Camp Roberts, Annual Regional Event Barracks Impression & Field Event 98th GJR will be deploying the unit's KUBELWAGEN to this event!
