The standard G.I. issue fieldgear
NOTE:  All weapons used and owned by 35th Infantry Division Reenactors comply with all applicable State and Federal laws. The 35th ID is dedicated to preserving the ideals and fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. 

Even though reenactments are performed using blank ammunition, the use of firearms including blanks have an inherent risk to all participants.  Always treat firearms as if they were loaded with live ammunition, never point a firearm at anyone (except in acceptable scenarios), and remember:
SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS!
The below listed items are some of the field gear and weapons that are authorized by the "C" Company, 134th Infantry, T.O. & E.
NOTE: If you have questions if a particular item you are considering buying is a correct World War Two issue gear, Contact your squad leader or Unit C/O before purchasing.

NOTE: This should be your primary weapon purchased for your standard infantry impression!
GET THIS BEFORE ANY OTHER WEAPON as you will be required to have one at most scenarios.
Canteen with Cup and Cover
Entrenching Tool with Cover
(T-Handle Shovel)
OR
M-1 or M-1928, Submachine Gun, Caliber .45 ACP with Kerr Sling
Blank-adapted, semi-auto only and in compliance with applicable State & Federal Laws
(Class-III license holders excepted)
NOTE: SMG for Squad Leaders/ASLs only or for special longe-range patrol missions or other special assignments.
Cartridge Belt or Pistol Belt
M-1928 Haversack or M-1936 Mussette Bag
AND
Leggins, M-1938 Dismounted

Pistol, M-1911 or M-1911A1, Caliber .45 ACP (blank-adapted) with holster  OR

NOTE: Carrying of side arms by troops other than Non-Coms/Officers are subject to:

M-1 Helmet with Liner
Must have a khaki or light O.D. chinstrap
1/4" inch or 1/2" inch net optional
NOTE: No lime-green Vietnam Era painted helmets!  Your helmet must be painted a dark WWII O.D. color!
