"WOLFHOUNDS" in VIETNAM, 1966 to 1971
The members of the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division participate in
Vietnam Era events as soldiers of the U.S. Army's "Wolfhounds".  Original photographs
show a variety of uniforms, equipment, and weapons that troops of the "C" Company
were provided.  Research and advances in technology provided the G.I. with better
equipment made of light weight materials.  Throughout the war changes in uniform
design were enhanced to provide comfort to the individual soldier as well as subduing his
concealment in a jungle environment: the photos below reflect those changes.
